About Abuse
What is domestic abuse?
Domestic abuse may be physical, mental or sexual. There is no such thing as a 'typical' abused woman.
Below are some examples:
PHYSICAL ABUSE: Hitting, punching, slapping, strangling, burning, using weapons.
MENTAL ABUSE: Humiliation, keeping the women from contacting family/friends, threats, degradation, name calling, locking you in.
SEXUAL ABUSE: Being forced to take part in sexual acts against your will, assault with objects, rape.
YOU DO NOT HAVE TO SUFFER. If you are living in fear of your partner call us now for help. Your call will be treated in the strictest confidence.
